A method of attenuating a biological effect of cocaine exposure in a primate. Such method includes administering to the primate an amount of a BChE-albumin fusion protein comprising the amino acid substitutions A227S, S315G, A356W, and Y360G, wherein the amount of the fusion protein is effective to cause attenuation of the biological effect of cocaine exposure in the primate.La présente invention a pour objet une méthode datténuation dun effet biologique de lexposition à la cocaïne chez un primate. Une telle méthode comprend ladministration au primate dune quantité de protéine de fusion BChE-albumine comprenant les substitutions dacides aminés A227S, S315G, A356W et Y360G, la quantité de la protéine de fusion étant efficace pour provoquer une atténuation de leffet biologique dune exposition à la cocaïne chez le primate.
