PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that handling large-diameter vegetables is hardly made because tension pulleys holding tension of a pair of right and left transfer belts are opposite on both sides of a transportation path and belts of a neck arranging apparatus are removed with pushing up force to the upper side.SOLUTION: A harvester for the root vegetables is equipped with the neck arranging apparatus 3 composed of a right and a left supporting members 7 and 7 provided with a plurality of pressing members 6 arranged at a regular interval for pressing a right and a left neck arranging endless belts 4a and 4b from the inside of winding regions to the transporting path 5 side so as to arrange cutting positions of stems and leaves of the root vegetables during transportation. In the harvester for the root vegetables, the right and the left supporting members 7 and 7 are shifted and arranged in positions without facing pressing members 6, respectively, and the harvester is composed by installing extending parts 7a extended to the upper parts of the right and the left neck arranging endless belts 4a and 4b on the side of the transportation path 5 in the right and the left supporting members 7 and 7.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】左右一対の移送ベルトの張力を保持するテンションプーリが搬送通路の両側に対向しているため大径の野菜に対応しにくく、また首揃え装置のベルトが上側への押し上げ力によって外れてしまう。【解決手段】左右首揃え無端帯4a,4bを巻回域内から搬送通路5側に押圧する複数の押圧部材6を等間隔に備えた左右支持部材7,7とからなる搬送中の根菜類の茎葉部の切断位置を揃える首揃え装置3を配置した根菜類収穫機において、該左右支持部材7,7を夫々の押圧部材6が対向し合わない位置にずらして設けると共に、左右支持部材7,7には搬送通路5側の左右首揃え搬送帯4a,4bの上方に延出させた延出部7aを設けて構成した根菜類収穫機である。【選択図】 図1
