PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an absorber with a large absorbing amount to pass through a narrow trocar.SOLUTION: An absorber cartridge for endoscopic surgery includes: an absorber 6 to be inserted into the body cavity of a patient through a trocar in an endoscopic surgery and cartridge tubes 2 and 3 for the absorber. The absorber 6 is made of woven-fabric gauze or non-woven fabric which absorbs blood or other body fluids of the body cavity. The cartridge tubes 2 and 3 are loaded with the absorber 6 inside in such a way that the absorber can be extruded. The outer diameter of each cartridge tube is set so that the tube is inserted into the trocar, the strength of the cartridge tube is set so that a body cavity inflating gas leakage preventive valve of the trocar is pushed open, and the inner diameter of the cartridge tube is set so that forceps are inserted into the cartridge tube. The cartridge tubes are inserted into the trocar, and the forceps are inserted into an opening at the outer end to extrude the absorber inside the cartridge tubes with the forceps, from an opening at the inner end.
