A seat for a vehicle, the seat being releasably anchored to the interior of the vehicle by an anchoring mechanism and having wheels to enable it to be rolled when not anchored to the interior of the vehicle. The seat is temporarily removable from the vehicle for the purpose of seating a person in the seat whilst it is outside of the vehicle, before moving the seat back into the vehicle whilst the person remains seated in it. The wheels are retractable from a lowered position for rolling the seat, to a raised position for anchoring the seat.
