Some embodiments of the present invention provide a clinical medium that supports cell and tissue viability, re-plate culture efficiency, and repopulating ability during storage for up to 48 hours or longer. The clinical media provided herein are also useful for clinical washing. Cell populations or tissue preparations, including tissue and clinical media as provided herein, are also provided, such as methods for producing such preparations.
