To facilitate completion of measurement in a short time while maintaining measurement reliability of a pressure type blood measuring device.SOLUTION: A blood pressure measuring device 2 for measuring blood pressure using a cuff 3 mounted onto a subject 100 includes: a pressurization mechanism 21 for increasing inner pressure of the cuff 3; a processor 221; and a memory 222 for storing a computer-readable command. When the command is executed by the processor 221, the blood pressure measuring device 2 acquires a pulse rate of the subject 100 while causing the pressurization mechanism 21 to increase the inner pressure of the cuff 3 at a predetermined pressing speed, and compares the acquired pulse rate with a predetermined pulse rate.
