Awning (1) of the type that is to be mounted on or in a facade or a wall of a building or on a vehicle, comprising a frame (2, 5, 6) and sunshade means (3) in the form of a screen which, in mounted condition, is movable with respect to said facade or wall. With the frame (2, 5, 6) a spraying installation is integrated for dispersing a spray (8) from the frame (2, 5, 6). The spraying installation comprises at least one nozzle (7) mounted in the frame (2, 5, 6) for dispersing the spray mainly under the screen (3). Furthermore, impeller means may be provided for effecting an improved dispersion of the spray.
