A system and method for providing a medical solution. The system comprises means for connecting the system to an inlet and an outlet connector of a container comprising a powder. A liquid pump is configured to be fluidly connected to the container for providing liquid, such as water, from a liquid source to the container. A re-circulation pump is connected to the inlet connector, wherein the re-circulation pump provides re-circulation of the contents of the container with the liquid provided by the liquid pump, such that in use the medical solution is prepared by mixing the powder of the container with the liquid from the liquid source.
