PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip for polishing which allows anyone to easily polish a chip or a culet or the like without the need of skilled techniques.SOLUTION: The chip for polishing includes: a shaft part 2 to be freely detachably mounted on a distal end part of a handpiece of a dental ultrasonic scaler or a dental air scaler a plate part 3 extended continuously from the distal end part of the shaft part 2 and provided with a front surface 21, a back surface, and two side faces 23 and a column part 4 extended continuously from the distal end part of the plate part 3.
