Disclosed is a novel glycopeptides derivative having an antibacterial activity. Specifically disclosed is a glycopeptide compound having aromatic rings of the second and sixth amino acid residues in a vancomycin skeleton as partial structures, wherein a Cl atom attached to at least one of the aromatic rings of the second and sixth amino acid residues is substituted by an alkyl which may be substituted, an aryl which may be substituted, an alkenyl which may be substituted, an alkynyl which may be substituted, or a heteroaryl which may be substituted, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the glycopeptide compound, or a solvate of the glycopeptide compound or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
