The present invention relates to a device for removing odorous smells and harmful gases. More specifically, the present invention relates to a device for removing odorous smells and harmful gases, wherein the device can effectively remove odorous smells and harmful gases by using an ion generating device scheme having an instant deodorizing effect ensured by forcibly, rapidly, and electrochemically neutralizing ions of an odorous material, and by using a nano-activated carbon scheme in which porous metal silica composite particles are coated. The device according to the present invention comprises: an anion generating unit having a suctioning port formed in one side of an anion generating chamber having an anion generating electrode formed therein, and having a discharging port formed in the other side thereof a deodorizing unit having a suctioning port formed in one side of a deodorizing chamber having an adsorbent accommodated therein to be connected with the discharging port of the anion generating unit, and having a discharging port formed in the other side thereof a suctioning device for applying suctioning force to the discharging port of the deodorizing unit through a suctioning connection pipe coming in contact with the outlet of the deodorizing unit and a high voltage generating unit for applying a high voltage to the anion generating electrode. According to the device of the present invention, deodorization is performed by forcibly, rapidly, and electrochemically neutralizing ions of an odorous material by using an ion generating device scheme, and odorous smells and harmful gases can be effectively removed by compositely utilizing a nano-activated carbon scheme in which porous metal silica composite particles are coated. In particular, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia which are major harmful gases generated in an environment basic facility can be excellently removed, and sulfur-based harmful gases such as methyl sulfide and methyl subsulfide can be effectivel
