PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger vein authentication device for reducing the deterioration of an authentication rate due to the compression of the vein of a finger root site.SOLUTION: A biometrics device for performing biometrics with a finger vein includes a finger placement stand on which the finger of a user is placed, therein the placement part of the finger is shaped like a V-character so that a space can be formed between the finger of the user and the placement part.
