The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating diseases related to hypofunction in Bruch membrane containing a sea cucumber extract as an active ingredient. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating diseases related to hypofunction in Bruch membrane, containing a sea cucumber extract or a fraction thereof effective in improving transport functions and regenerating Bruch membrane in the eye. According to the present invention, the composition improves transport functions of the Bruch membrane and also promotes regeneration of the Bruch membrane, thereby slowing down or reversing aging of the eye.
