PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact a lock release mechanism of a vehicle lock device with a pair of lock mechanisms.SOLUTION: The vehicle lock device according to the invention includes a body of a vehicle, a plate-like member which is rotatably connected to the body, a pair of lock mechanisms 45 which lock the rotation of the plate-like member on both sides in a width direction of the plate-like member, and a lock release mechanism 60 which can release a lock state of the pair of lock mechanisms 45. The lock release mechanism 60 includes a lock release operation part 61 and an operation force transmitting mechanism 62 which transmits the operation of the lock release operation part 61 to the pair of lock mechanisms 45. The operation force transmitting mechanism 62 is arranged between the pair of lock mechanisms 45 and can release their lock state by adding a left direction force along a virtual line connecting the lock mechanisms 45 to each lock mechanism 45.
