PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel solid preparation (live bacteria-containing preparation) containing useful intestinal bacteria as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a solid preparation (particularly, tablet) which contains starch within the range of 5 to 35 mass%, useful intestinal bacteria, and one or more types of additives, for example, and is manufactured by using the above-described mass% of starch whose drying loss value is 4% or less and useful intestinal bacteria without passing through a granulation process. A solid preparation (live bacteria-containing preparation) according to the present invention can be simply and easily manufactured, and the residual ratio of bacteria after storage is high.
