An implant (fixture) device, systems, and methods for providing a fixture in, and/or around, and/or on, a substrate such a bone. The implant includes a hollow body composed of a shape-memory material. The hollow body includes a plurality of sections connected to each other and separated by an opening between the sections. The plurality of sections are configured to have a compact configuration and/or an expanded configuration and may change between the first configuration and the second configuration in response to an applied stimulus.
