PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix one end of a fiber to a spool.SOLUTION: The spool 2 has a body portion 21 and a flange 22R. The body portion 21 exhibits a cylindrical shape, and a line L is wound on the outer peripheral surface 24, for example, in an arranged wound state. The flange 22R exhibits a ring-like shape, and is formed to be radially outward projected from axial one end of the outer peripheral surface 24 of the body portion 21. A radially outward opened dent 27 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the flange 22R. A groove 28 from the bottom of the dent 27 to the inner peripheral surface 23 of the body portion 21 is formed on the outside 22a of the flange 22R.
