PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment for generating a tissue elasticity image, which acquires a tissue elasticity image and which acquires a sound velocity distribution in proper timing concurrently with it.SOLUTION: Ultrasonic diagnostic equipment includes: a tissue elasticity image generation unit 17 which generates a tissue elasticity image indicating tissue elasticity of a subject, on the basis of a reception signal acquired by transmission/reception of ultrasonic waves into/from the subject by an ultrasonic probe 10 a sound velocity acquisition unit 19 which acquires a sound velocity in the subject on the basis of the reception signal acquired by the ultrasonic probe 10 and a determination unit 23 which determines whether or not acquisition of the sound velocity is performed by the sound velocity acquisition unit 19, on the basis of the tissue elasticity image.
