PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-growing box which has a simple structure and makes it easier to water than conventional one and to provide a plant-growing box unit.SOLUTION: The plant-growing box includes a bottom part 2, and a sidewall part 3 rising from the edge of the bottom part, and has an open top surface and a housing vacant part 4 inside. A fiber-planted layer 5 where synthetic fibers are planted is formed on the inner surfaces of the sidewall part and the bottom part, a part of the bottom part is made lower than the inner surfaces of other parts of the bottom part to form a low-level part, a drainage hole 6 is made at a position higher than the lowermost portion of the low-level part, and the low-level part lower than the drainage hole is prepared as a water-storage part 7.
