PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear, red and transparent perilla beverage containing a perilla component of a red perilla and a perilla component of a blue perilla as main components.SOLUTION: Each mutually equal amount of leaves of a blue perilla and leaves of a red perilla is immersed together into an aqueous solution of an organic acid such as citric acid, which is an aqueous solution containing water-soluble silicon, and a perilla component of the blue perilla and a perilla component of the red perilla are immersed into the aqueous solution by impregnation at room temperature.
