PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear, red and transparent perilla beverage containing a perilla component of a red perilla and a perilla component of a blue perilla as main components.SOLUTION: Each mutually equal amount of leaves of a blue perilla and leaves of a red perilla is immersed together into an aqueous solution of an organic acid such as citric acid, which is an aqueous solution containing water-soluble silicon, and a perilla component of the blue perilla and a perilla component of the red perilla are immersed into the aqueous solution by impregnation at room temperature. Then, after removing residues of the leaves of the blue perilla and the leaves of the red perilla, a perilla beverage is obtained by being seasoned by fruit sugar.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
