The present invention relates to inhibitors of antithrombin III and the medical use thereof in treating or preventing bleeding. The inhibitors are preferably used in subjects suffering from an acquired or genetic bleeding disorder, such as haemophilia, or in a subjects having a clinical condition characterised by excessive bleeding, such as surgery, trauma and internal bleeding. The inhibitor of antithrombin III can e.g. a peptide, an aptamer or an antibody or antibody fragment that specifically binds to and inhibits antithrombin III.La présente invention concerne des inhibiteurs de lantithrombine III et leur utilisation médicale dans le traitement ou la prévention des saignements. Les inhibiteurs sont de préférence utilisés chez des sujets souffrant dun trouble hémostatique acquis ou génétique, tel que lhémophilie, ou chez des sujets atteints dun état pathologique clinique caractérisé par un saignement excessif, tel quun saignement lié à une chirurgie, un traumatisme et un saignement interne. Linhibiteur de lantithrombine III peut par exemple être un peptide, un aptamère ou un anticorps ou un fragment danticorps se liant spécifiquement à lantithrombine III et inhibant celle-ci.
