The equipment for feeding water to a table top (1) on which plants are located involves feed apertures (2) issuing from the table top upper surface and is provided with a feed pipe (8) to such apertures for provision of water. The under surface of the table top is provided with a strip (6) of sprung material in which are grooves (7) which connect to the feed apertures. Under the strip at a fixed position is a feed pipe (8) directed to outlet apertures (9). Devices (10,11,12) are present for the heightwise arrangement of the feed pipe, pressing against the strip of sprung material.
