PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having excellent external appearance at parts near heat-seal parts, improving visual visibility of the side-seal parts and preventing a time/labor from being taken for diaper change work.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 according to the present invention employs a colored nonwoven-fabric sheet as a component sheet for constituting an outer wrapper 5. Respective side seal parts S have continuously-lined heat-seal parts 70 extending in the longitudinal direction and, when the diaper is worn, prevented from projecting outward the diaper 1. At the heat-seal parts 70, pigments of the colored nonwoven-fabric sheet constituting the outer wrapper 5 are condensed.
