The present invention relates to a formulation for the control of fungal diseases in the agricultural production of orchards, strawberries and ornamental plants characterized by comprising silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as an active ingredient with fungicidal activity. The said formulation synthesizes from silver oxide, phosphate silver, silver chloride, silver sulfate and Ag+ positive ions from particles and silver metal electrodes. At least one anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of sodium lauryl ether sulfate, carboxylate, sulfonate, phosphate, and at least one nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 60 and polysorbate 80 or amphoteric surfactants like Cocamidopropyl propylamine oxide. Further, at least one cationic surfactant selected from the group consisting of quaternary ammonium salts, distearyl dimethyl ammonium, and hexadecyltrimethylammonium. Said surfactant is preferably in the form of a dispersion to break the surface tension of the solvent and the resistance to the waxy cuticle of the leaves and the trichomes present in the epidermis of the same, thus facilitating the arrangement of the silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) on the leaf surface.
