The first object of the invention is directed to a genetic engineering process of plant comprising bast fibres, comprising the steps of (a) identification of the bast fibre promoter； and (b) amplification of the bast fibre promoter. Said genetic engineering process of plant is remarkable in that it further comprises the step of preparing an expression cassette by fusing the bast fibre promoter with at least one gene coding for a first protein through a protein domain, the protein of said protein domain being a second protein different from said first protein.
