PURPOSE: A liquid composition containing Houttuynia cordata thunb (poly cordata Bueck) and green tea extract is provided to ensure excellent mouth cleansing and antibacterial functions.CONSTITUTION: A liquid composition for oral administration contains anti-caries agent which suppresses bacteria in oral cavity and cleanses mouth. The composition contains 0.35-0.75 wt% of thymol as an antibacterial agent, 0.5-2 wt% of eucalyptol as a sweetening agent, 0.1-0.6 wt% of benzoic acid as antiseptic, 0.5-2 wt% of citric acid as pH adjusting agent, 10-30 wt% of glycerin as a wetting agent, plant extract, and purified water.
