The attachment has a pair of arms on one end which will engage the fornix lateral to the cervix of a womens vagina, and a U-shaped curved portion on the other end which will allow a doctor to engage the attachment with a vaginal speculum in order to spread a patients lateral, as well as vertical, walls at the same time.
