PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unconventional novel pre-harvesting treatment device which enables a harvesting machine to reap and harvest long crops easily and with a high yield by performing a pretreatment operation in advance of reaping and harvesting if long crops are lodged in the reaping and harvesting of the crops.SOLUTION: A pre-harvesting treatment device 10 for long crops is mounted on a self-propelled vehicle 42 traveling in a field, pre-treats the lodged long crops in advance of reaping the long crops, and comprises: a lower structural member 12 arranged so as to extend forward along the ground surface from the traveling vehicle 42 an upper structural member 14 arranged to be inclined upward so as to gradually become higher toward the back from the front end of the lower structural member 12 a side structural member 16 arranged to be inclined sideward so as to gradually spread to one lateral side toward the back from the front end of the lower structural member 12 and a tip protrusion part 30 arranged so as to protrude further forward from the front end of the lower structural member 12.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】長大作物の刈取り収穫に際して、かかる作物が倒伏していた場合に、刈取り収穫に先立った前処理作業を行なうことにより、収穫機による刈取り収穫を容易に且つ高い収穫量をもって行なうことを可能とする、従来にない新規な収穫前処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】圃場を自走可能な走行車42に装着されて、長大作物の刈り取りに先立って、倒伏した該長大作物を前処理する長大作物用の収穫前処理装置10であって、前記走行車42から地表に沿って前方に延び出すように設けられた下部構造材12と、該下部構造材12の前方端部から後方に向かって次第に高くなるように上方傾斜して設けられた上部構造材14と、該下部構造材12の前方端部から後方に向かって次第に横方片側に広がるように側方傾斜して設けられた側部構造材16と、該下部構造材12の前方端部から更に前方に突出して設けられた先端突出部30とを、含んで構成されている。【選択図】図5
