Exemplary systems and methods for reconstructing cardiac activation information are disclosed. The analysis signal and the reference signal are processed to determine whether there is a first change point within a first selected-order derivative of the analysis signal for a first selected-order derivative of the reference signal that exceeds a first threshold value. The analysis signal and the reference signal are processed to determine if there is a second change point in a second selected-order derivative of the analyzed cardiac signal that exceeds a second threshold value.
