The present invention relates to an external counterpulsation system which senses biosignals and conducts external counterpulsation in response to the sensed biosignal. The external counterpulsation system comprises: a compression device which surrounds the legs and arms of an operated person and compresses or decompresses the surrounded legs and arms； and a control device which calculates compression timing time and decompression timing time for external counterpulsation by analyzing an electrocardiogram signal and a blood flow signal among sensed biosignals and controls the compression device according to the calculated compression timing time and the decompression timing time. Therefore, the external counterpulsation system automatically regulates compression timing and decompression timing, thereby being able to remove conventional inconvenience that an operator must continuously monitor and regulate compression timing and decompression timing during an operation process, and allowing even an operator without expertise to easily operate external counterpulsation.본 발명은 생체신호를 감지하고 그 감지된 생체신호에 대응하여 외부역박동을 수행하는 외부역박동시스템에 관한 것으로, 상기 발명은 피시술자의 사지를 감싸고 그 감싸진 사지를 압박 또는 압박해제 하기 위한 압박장치； 및 상기 감지된 생체신호 중 심전도 신호와 혈류량 신호의 분석을 통해 상기 외부역박동을 위한 압박 타이밍 시간 및 압박해제 타이밍 시간을 계산하고, 그 계산된 압박 타이밍 시간 및 압박해제 타이밍 시간에 의해 상기 압박장치를 제어하는 제어장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이와 같이 본 발명은 압박 타이밍 및 압박해제 타이밍을 자동으로 조절하는 것이 가능하여 종래와 같이 시술과정 동안 시술자가 지속적으로 모니터링하면서 조절해야 하는 불편을 해소할 수 있고, 전문지식이 없는 시술자도 용이하게 사용할 수 있다.
