PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the replacement of a light source is difficult, since the light source is placed between a radiation detection panel and a chassis holding it.SOLUTION: The radiation imaging apparatus includes a housing including an upper panel on the radiation incident side, a bottom panel facing the upper panel, and a side panel connecting the upper panel and the bottom panel. In the housing, the radiation detection panel, the light source, and the chassis which provides the casing with rigidity are housed. The chassis includes a transmissible part which transmits calibration light from the light source to the radiation detection panel. The radiation detection panel is fixed to the upper panel side of the chassis, while the light source is fixed to the bottom panel side of the chassis. At least a part of the bottom panel forms a removable lid.
