PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel which can enhance strength of a reel body.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel includes a lid member 30 blocking a side opening part 13 mounted on the side of a body 10, and rotationally supports a handle shaft 5 at least by the lid member 30. The body 10 includes a wall part 21 and a cylinder part 22 extending from the wall part 21. The side opening part 13 is mounted on the end part of the cylinder part 22. The lid member 30 itself is fixedly fastened to the side opening part 13 via screwing. A support lib 24 extending in a vertical direction is disposed inside the cylinder part 22. Upper end parts 24c, 24d and a lower end part 24e of the support lib 24 are connected to an inner peripheral surface 22a of the cylinder part 22.
