PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a spool.SOLUTION: A spool 4 of a spinning reel 100 comprises a spool body 41, and a ring member 8. The spool body 41 includes body portions 4a, 4b and 4c, and an annular projection 4d. The annular projection 4d is formed integrally with the front sides of the body portions 4a, 4b and 4c. The annular projection 4d can be elastically deformed. The ring member 8 is arranged on the outer circumference of the annular projection 4d of the spool body 41.
