PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdressing composition capable of raising style-forming ability of hair and giving smooth finger-penetration nature to heir.SOLUTION: The hairdressing composition includes at least tamarind gum, wax or a hydrocarbon solid at 25°C, a surfactant and water. Preferably, the hairdressing composition further includes an oily component that is liquid at 25°C and a polyethylene glycol of an average degree of polymerization of 2,000 or higher.
