PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod reel seat that reduces fatigue of hands for gripping a fishing rod.SOLUTION: A fishing rod reel seat includes a cylindrical moving hood 12 in front side. The moving hood 12 is a cylindrical reel seat 2 having a hood part for covering the front end of a reel leg. The moving hood 12 has a trigger 33 for hooking a finger from a front side in a portion being an opposite side to the hood part among the whole circumference of an outer circumferential surface. The front face of the trigger 33 is a shape convexly curved to the front side along the width direction. The rear surface of the trigger 33 is a shape having a recess.
