Provided is a gene regulating rice plant-type and use thereof. Specifically, provided is an OsREM4.1 protein the coding gene thereof capable of regulating the plant type of rice. The protein and the coding gene thereof can not only regulate the height, the leaf inclination and the leaf rolling index of plants, such as rice, but also be used to enhance the yield of rice and improve the lodging resistance, drought resistance, salt resistance, and cold resistance and the like of the plant. Also provided is a method for improving plants, such as rice, by using the OsREM4.1 protein and the coding gene thereof.La présente invention concerne un gène régulant le type de plant de riz et une utilisation associée. Plus particulièrement, linvention concerne une protéine OsREM4.1, le gène codant pour celle-ci étant capable de réguler le type de plant de riz. La protéine et le gène codant pour celle-ci peuvent non seulement réguler la hauteur, linclinaison des feuilles et lindice denroulement des feuilles de plants, tels que le riz, mais peuvent également être utilisés pour augmenter le rendement en riz et améliorer la résistance à la verse, la résistance à la sècheresse, la résistance au sel et la résistance au froid et analogues du plant. Linvention concerne également un procédé permettant daméliorer des plants, tels que le riz, à laide de la protéine OsREM4.1 et du gène codant pour celle-ci.
