A weight management device for moderating bodyweight by providing an indication of changes in body weight. The device comprises a length of non-extensible, pliable material with a non-releasable fastening means such that when placed around the wearers waist it will tighten in response to overeating and will prevent further readjustment of the devices fastening to accommodate further weight gain.
