PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel state skin cleansing agent which does not need whipping a cleansing agent, has a feeling of use excellent in massage effect particularly during use, and also is excellent in detergency, rinsing properties, a feel after using, and stability.SOLUTION: The invention provides a gel state skin cleansing agent containing the following components (A)-(C), where the content of fatty acid salt is 0.1 mass% or less to the total amount of the gel state skin cleansing agent. (A) Two or more kinds of water soluble polymers selected from polysaccharides； 0.2-5 mass% to the total amount of the gel state skin cleansing agent. (B) A nonionic surfactant selected from poly glyceryl monoalkyl ether represented by the following general formula (1)； 0.05-5 mass% to the total amount of the gel state skin cleansing agent, and 60 mass% or more to the total amount of all the nonionic surfactant. (C) A polyhydric alcohol； 5-50 mass% to the total amount of the gel state skin cleansing agent.
