PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the needle cover of a syringe having a simple structure, convenient to handle and certainly preventing a needle thrusting accident.
SOLUTION: The needle cover B is mounted on the leading end part of the syringe A from a lateral direction to cover a needle 13 to form its lower part as the fitting part 23 forcibly fitted to the leading end part of a syringe body 11, while its upper part is equipped with an opened annular cylindrical part 20 being a needle housing part 24 for housing the needle 13 protruded from the syringe body 11 and the front opening of the needle housing part 24 is closed by a closure wall B
2 . A needle insertion port 30 made forcibly accessible to the needle 13 under pressure such as a slit 31, a linear broken part 32, a superposing part 33 or the like is provided in the closure wall B2 .
