PURPOSE: A medical imaging apparatus having electric wheels is provided to change the travel direction without separate steering system by regulating the rotation speed and direction of each in-wheel motor. CONSTITUTION: A medical imaging apparatus(100) includes a main body(110), driving wheels(130) and driven wheels(120), in-wheel motors, an electric power supply, a load cell, and a controller. The driving and driven wheels are mounted on the bottom surface of the main body. The in-wheel motors are attached to the driving wheels and provided with electric power to operate the driving wheel. The load cell detects the power applied by an operator and outputs it as electric signal.
