FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and medical equipment and is intended for increasing accuracy of determination of time of visual information perception. Tested person is presented a sequence of two light pulses with duration 50 ms, separated with a 150 ms long pause, repeated through constant time interval 1.5 s. At the first stage of measurements pause duration is reduced with constant rate 20 ms/s until tested person determines the moment of subjective sensation of fusion of two light pulses into one. At the second stage of measurements pause duration is increased with constant rate 5 ms/s until tested person determines the moment of subjective sensation of separation of two light pulses. At the third stage of measurements pause duration is reduced with constant rate 1 ms/s until tested person determines the moment of subjective sensation of fusion of two light pulses into one. Time of visual information perception is taken equal to value of the sum of light pulse duration and pause duration at the moment of subjective fusion of two light pulses into one, determined at the third stage of measurements, which is marked on the plane in coordinates "time of visual information perception- number of measurement". The described procedure is repeated, graph showing the dependence of values of time of visual information perception tvip as function tvip=f(Ni)3 where Ni is number of i-th measurement, i = 1, 2, …, k, k is number of measurements, before obtaining quasistationary mode, when transitive process is over. In quasistationary mode specified quantity of measurements are performed, after which evaluation of time of visual information perception is calculated as arithmetic mean value by formula: where tvip j is value of time of visual information perception in j-th measurement, ms j=k, k+1, …, k+(n-1) k is number of measurement, corresponding to end of transitive process (beginning of quasistationary mode) n is number of measurements of time of
