A sorbent excellent in absorption holding ability and excellent in liquid suction force is provided. The absorbent mainly contains a polyacrylic acid (salt) water absorbent resin and satisfies all of the following physical properties (a) to (e). (b) a ratio of particles having a particle diameter of 600 占 퐉 or more and less than 850 占 퐉 of less than 10% by weight； (c) an average pore radius of 100 占 퐉 or less； (D) a CRC of 28 g / g or more and less than 34 g / g； (e) an AAP of 24 g / g or more.흡수 유지 능력이 우수하고, 또한 액 흡인력이 우수한 흡수제를 제공한다. 흡수제는, 폴리아크릴산(염)계 흡수성 수지를 주성분으로 하고, 하기 물성 (a) 내지 (e) 모두를 만족시킨다.
