PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an engine from being started while an upper cover is still half-opened and thereby not to blow out a threshed object from a threshing device.SOLUTION: In a combine, a travel device 2 is arranged in a lower part of a machine body frame 1 mounting an engine 62 thereon, a reaping device 4 is arranged in a front part of the machine body frame 1, and a threshing device 3 is arranged in a rear part of the reaping device 4. A threshing clutch 90A transmitting rotation of the engine 62 to the threshing device 3 and first detection means 120 detecting a half-opened state of an upper cover 50D covering an upper side of a threshing cylinder 55 of the threshing device 3 are arranged. When the threshing clutch 90A is cut off and the half-opened state of the upper cover 50D is not detected by the first detection means 120, the engine 62 can be started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
