The dressing material may comprise a manifold comprising a first plane and a second plane opposite the first plane, and a first layer adjacent the first plane and a second layer adjacent the second plane. The first layer and the second layer may be stacked on the first plane and the second plane, respectively. Pressure sensitive fluid restrictions penetrating at least one of the first and second layers may be adjacent to the manifold. In some embodiments, the first and second layers can also form a sleeve or cover around the manifold. At least one of the first layer and the second layer may be configured to be disposed between the manifold and the tissue site in use.
