PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root harvester that facilitates crop harvesting work with good stability while including a ridging device.SOLUTION: A root harvester includes an extraction conveying device 2 and a ridging device 8. The ridging device 8 includes a turning blade 80. The posture of the turning blade 80 is configured so as to be switchable into a working posture with the lower edge of the turning blade 80 entering soil and a work release posture with the lower edge of the turning blade 80 raised from all over the soil.
