To provide a zirconia sintered body having suppressed irregular shrinkage deformation.SOLUTION: A zirconia calcinated bodies 20 and 22 are obtained by forming a plurality of zirconia powders containing zirconia and a stabilizer for suppressing a phase transition of zirconia and having different compositions, forming a zirconia composition by layering the plurality of zirconia powders, and burning the zirconia composition at 800°C to 1200°C. Then a test piece is prepared by molding the resulting zirconia calcinated body to a rectangular solid shape with dimension of width 50 mm×height 10 mm×depth 5 mm, is burned at 1500°C for 2 hr. Then a zirconia sintered body is obtained in which shrinkage deformation is suppressed to have (maximum intervals between a bottom surface deformed into a concave surface and a ground surface 30)/(distance between grand parts in a width direction)×100 of 0.15 or less, when the test piece is placed with a bottom surface deformed into the concave surface facing down out of two bottom surfaces when surfaces with width 50 mm×depth 5 mm are bottom surfaces 20a and 22a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
