PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for a soft lure, using the soft lure for top water fishing.SOLUTION: This auxiliary tool 10 for a soft lure includes: a float part 12 floating on the water surface when splashing and a sinker part 14 forming the bottom of the float part 12 and sinking in the water when splashing, wherein a through hole 20 for passing a fishing line 18 is formed in the interiors of the float part 12 and the sinker part 14. The auxiliary tool 10 for the soft lure is not fixed to the fishing line 18, but put in the floating state. The auxiliary tool 10 for the soft lure is moved to the worm 24 side by resistance of water when the fishing line 18 is wound up, and moved on the water surface in the state of being connected to the worm 24. Therefore, the fishing line 18 can be wound up with the worm 24 floated on the water surface.
