PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning module for cleaning aggregate used in a surgical operation. A cleaning module comprises a shell and defines a void 252 for receiving aggregate. The cutter 48 is arranged in the vacant space. The shaving tube 270 is coaxially arranged around the cutter so that it moves at different speeds and / or in different directions with respect to the cutter. When actuated, the cutter rotates to clean the aggregate by removing soft tissue from the aggregate. The turning plate reorients the aggregate, and the arm moves across the turning plate from the disengaged position to the engaged position, pushing the aggregate into the cutter through the window of the shaving tube.
