PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system smoothly examining the whole area of the small intestine using a novel small intestine endoscope constituted by combining an ileus tube with an optical fiber scope.
SOLUTION: This system is so constituted as to, in a process where balloons of the ileus tube 1 which has the balloons 1a and 1b at its distal end are inflated and the ileus tube is entered in the depth of the small intestine by the peristaltic movement of the small intestine, measure the internal pressure of the balloons and record them associated with the entry position of the ileus tube into the small intestine and, in a process of endoscopically observing the small intestine while pulling out the ileus tube from the depth of the small intestine, control the internal pressures of the balloons according to the internal pressure of the small intestine recorded according to the pull-out position of the ileus tube.
