PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nesting prevention device in which the nesting of birds such as crows is prevented in utility poles or steel towers for power transmission lines, and the crows are prevented from flying to the place again.SOLUTION: A nesting prevention device has: an exterior part 4 forming a hollow vessel shape in the inside and having multiple openings 41 in one side a cloud-shaped body 5 stored in the cavity of the exterior part 4, forming a random irregular shape on the surface of a cylinder, and rotatably supported snake models 6 each using a configuration of a snake as a motif a windmill mechanism 9 disposed outside the exterior part 4 and rotated by receiving wind and rotation transmission mechanisms 94, 7, 81 for transmitting the rotation by the windmill mechanism 9 to the cloud-shaped body 5. The snake models 6 each have a head 64 directed toward the top and the tip of a tail being brought into abutment with the cloud-shaped body 5 substantially upward, and are mounted in the position being the same as the opening 41 of the exterior part 4.
